Meet Your Instructor and Founder, Dr. Stacey Thomas
Dr. Stacey Thomas practices shelter medicine in Tucson, Arizona, and has been an EMT for search & rescue for more than fifteen years, trained in Tactical Emergency Casualty Care for humans and K9s. She currently resides in Arizona, where she is both a team member and the medical educator for a K9 Search and Rescue team. When she's not caring for animals in the shelter, you can find her adventuring and exploring in Arizona or Alaska with her two rescue dogs, Finn and Little Bit, and organizing veterinary outreach events through her non-profit, Far Fetched Charities, 501c3.
She is currently pursuing her private pilot license to provide veterinary care to remote villages in Alaska and beyond.
